Owner & Principal Designer
Following a successful career in advertising and customer relations, Jeanine studied at the JDA School of Interior Design in London, England. During her interior design career in England she worked on mainly residential properties. After becoming a US citizen, Jeanine worked for 10 years with Pam Smith, owner and designer at DesignSmith Interiors. Pam sadly passed away in 2019 after a long battle with cancer. It was Pam's wish that Jeanine continue to carry the design torch, and Jeanine has now built her own flourishing design business.
Fun fact:
Jeanine was varsity captain of the Netball team; she played goal attack.
Project Manager
Originally from London Sasha spent much of her childhood in Ireland! A career in International Banking and Hedge Fund Administration gave business and management experience working in many different locations around the globe. Moving to New York in 2015 garnered a change of career direction; having always had a keen interest in textiles, color and design. In 2023, Sasha joined DesignScott Interiors as Project Manager but with creative input on all aspects of the design process.
Fun Fact:
An avid cocktail maker, Sasha is a self proclaimed “glasses snob” and has a large collection of glassware and believes that anything can be made more aesthetically pleasing and enjoyable by choosing an appropriate and beautiful method of delivery!
Social Media Coordinator & Design Assistant
Daughter to Pam Smith, owner and designer of DesignSmith Interiors, Cate recently joined the team to use her creative design gene and contribute to her mother's legacy through the business she started.
A native to both Rye and Rye Brook, she attended Blind Brook High School. Cate has a Bachelors in Psychology from Clemson University, and Masters in Sports Leadership and Management from Northeastern University. Cate is taking a gap year before returning to school to become a licensed Sports Psychologist.
Fun fact:
Cate was a recruited DI Student-Athlete on the Clemson Varsity Rowing team. She is happily retired and vowed to never row again.
